What LEXAN does well
Among the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic, with up to 90% light transmission for lighting and glazing. Continuous use temperatures up to 130°C in standard grades, higher in copolymer variants. Low shrinkage and water absorption give predictable behavior from mold to part. Flame retardancy runs across UL94 V-0, V-2 and 5VA through the FR resin line. ISCC+ certified renewable variants drop into existing applications without requalification.
